Choose a PC storefront with the dependencies in view
EA's buy page offers PC access through the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store. It lists the base release for August 13, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. UTC; edition access and regional storefront details should be checked at purchase time rather than hard-coded from a pre-launch snapshot.
Buying on Steam does not make the title launcher-independent. Steam explicitly requires EA online activation, installation and background use of the EA app, and an EA account linked to the purchasing Steam account.
Minimum PC specification
The official listings set Windows 11 and DirectX 12 as the minimum software baseline. Steam estimates the minimum configuration for 1920x1080 at 60 FPS on the Low preset, but that is an estimated target rather than a guarantee for every PC.

Recommended PC specification
The recommended tier moves to a Core i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X, 16 GB RAM, and an RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6700 XT, or Arc B580. Steam associates that tier with an estimated 2560x1440 at 60 FPS on the High preset.
Both tiers list 50 GB available storage, but EA warns that mandatory updates can require additional space. Leave operating headroom rather than treating 50 GB as a permanent maximum install footprint.

Steam account and anti-cheat requirements
Steam says access is limited to one EA account and one Steam account and becomes non-transferable after linking. Players should verify the intended EA account before first launch, especially when multiple household or legacy EA accounts exist.
The storefront also discloses EA Javelin Anti-Cheat as kernel-level software and says it requires manual removal after the game is uninstalled. That prerequisite belongs in the purchase checklist, not buried after download.
What still needs launch testing
Store requirements describe eligibility and estimated performance; they are not hands-on benchmarks. A useful performance comparison needs the CPU, GPU, driver, resolution, preset, frame-rate behavior, storage use, first-boot steps, and any EA app or account-linking friction.
The cited pages do not establish Steam Deck, Linux, or macOS support, nor do they provide a complete peripheral compatibility list. The existence of a Steam listing does not confirm those platforms or devices.
